Web and software development agency Tecbot approached me to help them redesign the website for their client, Chairclub.
Chairclub sells high-end office furniture to corporates, with a focus on unique, ergonomic designs. Due to the pandemic and the sudden and large shift to remote work, they needed to shift their own focus to selling direct-to-consumer in addition to corporate buyers. Part of this strategy was to add an e-commerce store on their website.
One of the biggest challenges of this project was designing the functionality for their 3D chair customizer, which allows customers to choose colors, fabrics, and features and get a 3D preview in real-time. I also needed to make sure that this customizer translated well to mobile screens without losing too much functionality.
